Hotel El Cabildo, two blocks from the obelisk

If we want to be near the obelisk in downtown Buenos Aires, but without spending too much, there's a hotel on my way when I return home from work that I always heard good recommendations of.


El Cabildo Hotel is located on Lavalle 748, right in downtown Buenos Aires and two blocks from the obelisk.


It's a cheap but confortable hotel, listed as 1 star hotel but with the comforts expected for its price, and also the staff is very helpful.


It was named after an old mansion that was the center of the May Revolution, where
the independence of Argentina began, and is located a few blocks from it.
