Argentina Tango Hotel

Argentina Tango Hotel is a 3 star hotel located in downtown of the city, with a style that combines modern design with an air of tango and milonga. There are three types of rooms (standard, superior and deluxe) with all the basic services included.

It also has a comfortable but small business lounge, as business tourism is not its target. I recommend this hotel especially for tourists who want to experience the most traditional aspects of Buenos Aires.

Atlas Tower Hotel

The Atlas Tower Hotel is another hotel located in the stunning Avenida Corrientes, in the heart of the City. Let's remember that in Avenida Corrientes and Callao we have a subway station, which takes us through the city at minimal cost and without loss of time.

With a rather more traditional style in comparison with the hotel of our previous note, the positive aspects of this hotel are the neatness of the design of the rooms and general cleaning.

Abasto Hotel for Tango lovers

Abasto Hotel is a place designed to live near the experience of Tango in Buenos Aires.

A few meters from the subway station and the Abasto Shopping, this hotel is cheap and convenient, but with some details to consider as moisture in some walls and cleaning problems.

Hotel Dos Congresos in Avenida Rivadavia

Avenida Rivadavia is another outdoor shopping center halfway between Avenida de Mayo and Avenida Corrientes.

There we find this 3-star hotel with cheap prices for the area where it's located: The Hotel Dos Congresos.

Hotel Bel Air in Recoleta

This is the first hotel that I show you in the Recoleta area. Usually I don't write about hotels in this part of the city because of high prices (Recoleta is one of the more affluent areas of Buenos Aires).

However, the Bel Air Hotel is cheaper than average, so I decided to include it.

Castelar Hotel in Avenida de Mayo

In Avenida de Mayo, just a block away from Avenida 9 de Julio, this elegant 4 star hotel with SPA and a classical European architecture of the area was home to the writer Federico Garcia Lorca (his room is still original, now a museum).

Castelar Hotel is a comfortable and flexible place for both tourism and business trips (even has a business meeting room). It has a restaurant with gourmet and local food, as well as bar.

Moreno Hotel in San Telmo

The Moreno Hotel offers rooms and services of good category, although it's noted that their prices are not as cheap as other hotels. Anyway, they also offer various discounts, especially if booked in advance.

In Avenida de Mayo, we can walk from the historic Plaza de Mayo until Avenida 9 de Julio through historical sidewalks typical of Buenos Aires. Trees, ancient bars and modern business are mixed in this avenue where several centuries live in one.

La Fresque Boutique Hotel is located on the Avenida de Mayo and has rooms full of aesthetic details for a cheaper price for a place of its category.

Hotel Dos Mundos

Today, I got another hotel near Callao and Corrientes avenues, in downtown Buenos Aires. It is the Hotel Dos Mundos with 50 spacious rooms and all the essential services to have a comfortable and safe stay for a cheap price.

Hotel Dos Mundos offers rooms with private or shared bathroom, another key to save costs and focus our vacation in tourism, instead of accommodation. The area is very quiet -at day and night- and features several lines of buses and taxis, and the subway is just a few blocks away.

Hotel Lanin in Avenida Rivadavia

Avenida Rivadavia is another landmark of the city due to its proximity to the National Congress. Two blocks away we can find Hotel Lanín, which offers various cheap hosting services (for example we can choose between private or shared bathroom) but with a warm hospitality and good service.

Another important thing is the general cleanliness of the hotel, the amplitude of the rooms and caring in the accessories, especially in the bathroom.

It's a peaceful district, with tree-lined streets, restaurants, bars and squares full of life. One of the favorite tourist areas for those who want to be away from the rush of downtown.

In this zone, specifically in a neighborhood called Palermo Hollywood, we find the Boutique Hotel Simple & Charming, a very friendly 3 star hotel, with an original decoration and a warm atmosphere.

Welcome to my blog

Hello, and welcome to my blog!

I lived all my life in Buenos Aires, Argentina. And I couldn't live elsewhere.

I love traveling and seeing new places, but I need to know that, sooner or later, I will return to my beloved city of Buenos Aires.
