La Fresque Boutique Hotel

In Avenida de Mayo, we can walk from the historic Plaza de Mayo until Avenida 9 de Julio through historical sidewalks typical of Buenos Aires. Trees, ancient bars and modern business are mixed in this avenue where several centuries live in one.

La Fresque Boutique Hotel is located on the Avenida de Mayo and has rooms full of aesthetic details for a cheaper price for a place of its category.

Hotel Dos Mundos

Today, I got another hotel near Callao and Corrientes avenues, in downtown Buenos Aires. It is the Hotel Dos Mundos with 50 spacious rooms and all the essential services to have a comfortable and safe stay for a cheap price.

Hotel Dos Mundos offers rooms with private or shared bathroom, another key to save costs and focus our vacation in tourism, instead of accommodation. The area is very quiet -at day and night- and features several lines of buses and taxis, and the subway is just a few blocks away.

Hotel Lanin in Avenida Rivadavia

Avenida Rivadavia is another landmark of the city due to its proximity to the National Congress. Two blocks away we can find Hotel Lanín, which offers various cheap hosting services (for example we can choose between private or shared bathroom) but with a warm hospitality and good service.

Another important thing is the general cleanliness of the hotel, the amplitude of the rooms and caring in the accessories, especially in the bathroom.

Rooney's boutique hotel near Avenida Corrientes

Another boutique hotel, but in this case, located in downtown Buenos Aires near the Obelisk, in the former residence of Argentine poet and writer Leopoldo Lugones, Rooney's boutique hotel is a historycal place that was part of Buenos Aires since the early twentieth century.

Liberty Hotel in downtown Buenos Aires

The Liberty Hotel loses a little in the category-price ratio compared to other hotels we were seeing in previous articles.

But it has the advantage of being located right in downtown.

Gran Hotel Argentino in Avenida 9 de Julio

The Avenida 9 de Julio is the widest avenue in the city. Pavilions, palm trees and old buildings decorate the area.

In this awesome place, near the Obelisk,  we find the Gran Hotel Argentino, a landmark hotel of Buenos Aires.

Simple & Charming Boutique Hotel in Palermo

Palermo is another beautiful district of Buenos Aires City. It's 20 minutes away from downtown by subway.

It's a peaceful district, with tree-lined streets, restaurants, bars and squares full of life. One of the favorite tourist areas for those who want to be away from the rush of downtown.

In this zone, specifically in a neighborhood called Palermo Hollywood, we find the Boutique Hotel Simple & Charming, a very friendly 3 star hotel, with an original decoration and a warm atmosphere.

Location of the Day: San Telmo

San Telmo is a beautiful district of the many that make Buenos Aires a great city, and one of the oldest.

It's the ideal place to explore and understand how life was when this city was just beginning.

Hotel El Cabildo, two blocks from the obelisk

If we want to be near the obelisk in downtown Buenos Aires, but without spending too much, there's a hotel on my way when I return home from work that I always heard good recommendations of.

Concorde Hotel near Puerto Madero

In the neighborhood of Puerto Madero, the Concorde Hotel offers you a 3 star hotel with all amenities and a cheap price. It is certainly one of the best options to stay focused on knowing places and eating well, saving on acommodation.

Welcome to my blog

Hello, and welcome to my blog!

I lived all my life in Buenos Aires, Argentina. And I couldn't live elsewhere.

I love traveling and seeing new places, but I need to know that, sooner or later, I will return to my beloved city of Buenos Aires.
